Whether it's a goal, a value, or a person, it's easy to make excuses and let ourselves off the hook. But when we commit 100%, everything becomes simpler. One of the biggest benefits of committing 100% is that it eliminates the need for constant decision-making. When we fully commit to something, we don't have to negotiate with ourselves about getting out of bed in the morning or eating that cookie. We've already made the decision, and it's one less thing to think about. But how do we know what to commit to? One way is by using our values as a guide. Our values are the things that are most important to us, and they can help us prioritize our commitments. For example, if one of your values is health, then committing to a regular exercise routine would align with that value. On the other hand, if you value career success, committing to a specific job or project would align with that value. When we commit 100% to our goals, values, and people, we become known as the type of person who follows through. It's easy to make promises and commitments, but it's another thing entirely to actually follow through on them. When we commit fully, we demonstrate our integrity and trustworthiness. People know that when we say we're going to do something, we'll do it. In short, committing fully to our goals, values, and people makes everything else easier. We don't have to constantly debate whether or not we should do something, and we become known as the type of person who follows through on their commitments.
